I Can't Do This Anymore...

Every day in America, there is a death by suicide every 11 minutes. In 2022, according to the CDC, more than 49,000 people died by suicide, up by 2.6% from 2021, with males dying by suicide at 4x the rate of females.

With statistics like this, it's clear to the objective observer that those struggling with depression and suicidal ideation are not alone. And yet, in those dark moments before a life is taken

by suicide, that is exactly how many people feel: alone, helpless, and desperate.

September is National Suicide Awareness Month.

Please know that help is available. You can text the National Crisis Line, or call 988 to be connected to a Mobile Crisis Unit in your area.
